Although Secrets Whispered from the Sea has some romance in it, I consider it Women's Fiction or Chick Lit. Ms. St. Clair writes so that readers get an in-depth view of the characters and their challenges: Clem's dilemmas [job, home, & relationships], relationship problems between sisters, her sister’s marital problems, and interference from her Grandmother’s “gang”. I really enjoyed reading the book. It was very well written and entertaining. I recommend Secrets Whispered from the Sea to all who enjoy reading books about family, friends and romance.
